Cookie policy
This policy lists everything this website — the Moving Stores landing page, these legal pages and the back office — keeps on your device, and how you control it. Please read it with our privacy policy.
Moving Systems is a subsidiary of Devya Solutions, its parent company.
1. Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small piece of text a website asks your browser to keep and send back on later visits. Local storage and session storage are similar places in your browser where a page can keep data: session storage is emptied when you close the tab, and neither is sent to our servers by itself. The law treats them alike: a site may use what it strictly needs to give you the service you ask for, and needs your consent for anything else.
2. What this website uses
Only what it strictly needs: to keep you signed in, to protect what you do in the back office, and to remember choices you make, such as your language or light or dark appearance. It uses no analytics, advertising or third-party cookies, so it shows no cookie banner: there is nothing to ask your consent for.
3. Everything this website keeps
Names ending in “…” carry an id, such as the store or the table they belong to. None of this is shared with advertisers.
| Name | Purpose | Type | Set by | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
dc_session | Keeps you signed in to the back office. Set when you sign in, removed when you sign out. | Cookie | This website | 12 hours, renewed while you use the site |
dc_impersonation | Only for Devya support staff: marks the time-limited session in which they open a store’s back office at the merchant’s request. | Cookie | This website | 60 minutes |
NEXT_LOCALE | Remembers the language you chose, for addresses that do not carry one. | Cookie | This website | Until you close the browser |
dc-admin-sidebar | Remembers whether you keep the back office menu collapsed. | Cookie | This website | 1 year |
dc-admin-unverified-dismissed | Hides the “confirm your email address” reminder for a day after you close it. | Cookie | This website | 1 day |
dc-admin-theme | Remembers your choice of light or dark appearance. | Local storage | This website | Until you clear it |
dc-admin-prefs | Remembers this device’s back office settings: keyboard shortcuts, the new-order sound and notifications, and table density. | Local storage | This website | Until you clear it |
dc-admin-cols:… | Remembers which columns you show in each back office table. | Local storage | This website | Until you clear it |
dc-admin-recent:… | Lists the orders, products, customers and returns you opened recently, for quick search: their ids and names only. | Local storage | This website | Until you clear it |
dc-admin-alerted:…dc-admin-orders-seen:… | Lets your open tabs agree on new-order alerts, so a sound or notification plays once and an order you have seen is marked seen in every tab. | Local storage | This website | Until you clear it |
dc-admin-dismissed:… | Hides a notice you closed, such as a payment reminder, until you close the tab. | Session storage | This website | Until you close the tab |
dc-admin-idem:… | Keeps a one-time key while a form that changes money or orders is open, so a retry after a timeout never repeats the change. | Session storage | This website | Until the action goes through |
dc-admin-assistant:… | Keeps your conversation with the store assistant while the tab is open. | Session storage | This website | Until you close the tab |
Link | Holds the single-use ticket that links your Moving POS account while you confirm it; removed once used. | Session storage | This website | 10 minutes |
4. Requests to other services
This website loads no third-party scripts, fonts or embeds. One back office tool reaches other services: when you place a branch on a map, the map images load from OpenStreetMap and CARTO, which receive your IP address and the part of the map you are looking at. They load only when you open the map.
5. Stores built on {brand}
Each store has its own cookie list at /cookies on its address, built from what that store really uses. A store asks before it runs its own visit counter or any Google Analytics or Meta Pixel tag its merchant adds, and its “Cookie settings” link changes that choice at any time.
6. Changing your mind
“Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page opens a panel that shows what this website keeps. If the website ever adds something optional, that is where you allow or refuse it, and you can withdraw as easily as you agreed. You can also block or delete cookies and site data in your browser’s settings; if you block the ones this website needs, you will not be able to sign in.
7. Changes to this policy
We update this policy, with a new date at the top, whenever the website starts or stops keeping something on your device.
